This October, we’re turning breast cancer awareness into meaningful support.
Breast cancer can affect anyone — and behind every diagnosis is a person, a family, and a story.
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Studio Be Salon team is coming together to support someone in our community who is currently facing breast cancer by providing more than awareness. We want to offer meaningful, personal support during a time when even everyday needs can feel overwhelming.
In a personal video, Sarah Brinkhuis, President of Studio Be Salon, shares her own breast cancer journey and why this cause is so close to her heart.
A Personalized Wig Donation Through The Wig Fairy
This October, Studio Be Salon has partnered with The Wig Fairy to give one person facing breast cancer the gift of a personalized human-hair wig.
A wig can be about so much more than hair. It can provide comfort, confidence, a sense of normalcy, and the ability to feel a little more like yourself during an incredibly difficult chapter.
Through this initiative, the selected recipient will receive a wig thoughtfully customized to their individual needs and preferences. Click the photo below to browse some of their ready to shop collection:
Know Someone Who Could Benefit From Breast Cancer Support?
Starting today and continuing throughout the entire month of October, we are inviting you to nominate someone you love.
You can nominate:

Someone in your community

The person nominated must currently be facing breast cancer and could benefit from additional support during their journey.

Your Privacy Matters
We understand that breast cancer journey is deeply personal.
Every nomination will be sent directly to Sarah and personally reviewed by her.
The entire nomination and selection process will remain private and confidential.
The person selected will not be publicly identified and will not be required to participate in marketing, social media, photography, video, or any follow-up content.
Our goal is simply to provide support to someone who needs it — without asking anything in return.
More Than a Wig: Additional Support Throughout October
Alongside the personalized wig donation, Studio Be Salon will also be collecting funds throughout October to provide additional support to the person selected through this initiative.
Depending on their individual needs, support may include:

Other needs that may become overwhelming during breast cancer journey
We know that support can look different for everyone. Our hope is to use the funds raised to provide practical assistance where it can make the greatest difference for the selected recipient.
