Our year of adaptation and creativity

2020 was quite the year!
From a two-month closure to re-opening with majorly reduced capacity, this year challenged and inspired us.

February –
Team Culture Trip

We started 2020 off with a bang, taking 45 of our employees to the sunny shores of Cancun, Mexico.

We honor the team culture that makes us the family that we are by setting aside time for our team to truly bond with one another outside of the salon.

March – A new brand, then a new way of life

In the beginning of March we launched R+Co in our salons, introducing the brand to our stylists and clients alike.

By the third week of March, the nationwide shutdown went into effect. Our salons closed their doors and our team hunkered down, but amidst the uncertainty of the future, we kept our hopes high and our sights set on the day we’d reunite with our clients.

April – Planning for the future

April was the month of Zoom meetings and planning for the changing world around us as we entered our second month of closure.

We kept our team on their feet by hosting online education classes with the hair industry’s best to ensure the utmost expertise for our guests.

May – Reopening with restrictions

Our salons reopened with new safety measures, including temperature prescreening, face covering requirements and reduced capacity. We were beyond excited to welcome our guests back into our chairs despite the changes we faced!

It takes a village…

When our friends at Europa Colour Salon closed their doors after the shutdown, we decided to team up with Facette Med Spa & The Hair Experience and honor Facette clients’ unused gift cards.

“It takes a village and we are happy to help each other and our community out in times of need.”

August – Team training

We closed our salons for two days to build on our skills and knowledge in order to serve our guests with the latest expertise.

We were graced with the (online) presence of Paul Mitchell’s best educators who showed us new color and cutting techniques.

We all learned so much and are endlessly grateful to Paul Mitchell for the education and support for our team.

November – Best of NoCo

We were so thrilled to announce our win of Best Hair Salon of Northern Colorado in NOCO Style’s Reader’s Choice awards.

We are firmly grounded in our community and are so grateful to have been chosen by our lovely guests as Northern Colorado’s Best Salon!

December – Looking ahead

Through navigating a nationwide shutdown, reopening with restrictions, handling resurgences and experiencing the weight of the pandemic alongside our community, we’ve grown and learned so much about having hope and the power of teamwork.

We’re looking ahead to 2021 with our sights set on a new location in Loveland, further expert training for our stylists from the industry’s best, and creative strategies to better serve each and every one of our clients in a time where we all just need a moment to relax and unwind.

We are so grateful for you, our beloved guests, and cannot thank you enough for your continued trust and support during this year. Here’s to another year of five-star service and one-of-a-kind experiences.

Happy New Year from our Studio Be Salon family to yours!
